Coffee County 2When you choose Halo pet food, made from natural, whole food ingredients, your pet won’t be the only one with a radiant coat, clear eyes and renewed energy. Halo feeds it forward, donating over 1.5 million meals annually.

Halo is proud to partner with Freekibble.com and GreaterGood.org to achieve noticeable results for shelter pets together!

Here is a recent report from Coffee County Humane Society in Manchester, TN:

Coffee County Humane Society, an all volunteer 501(c)(3) non-profit received a large quantity of dog and puppy HALO Spot’s Stew andHALO Spot’s Stew for indoor cats in November of 2013. This was because of the unique partnership between GreaterGood.org, FreeKibble.com and Halo, Purely for Pets.

Because we are not county or government funded, our organization provides service to the community solely with the help of donations from the public and targeted grant money for spay/neuter services. Our group not only feeds dogs and cats in foster homes awaiting adoption, but we provide pet food monthly to the Good Samaritan Food Pantries for the needy, in the two towns in our county, Manchester and Tullahoma. Total population in the county is approximately 55,000, and the poverty rate is high.

Before CCHS started donating pet food to the pantries, there was nothing available for pets of low-income families who qualified for grocery help. The donation we received will help hundreds of pets of low-income families as well as approximately 30 dogs and cats in foster care and 5 colonies of stray/feral cats, which CCHS feeds as caretaker.

The value of this pet food to families is immense. Many times being able to obtain help for feeding a family pet through hard times enables the family to keep the pet, which otherwise would have been surrendered to Animal Control or given away or even abandoned. Keeping pets in their homes is one of the benefits that occurred because of this donation. In addition, because CCHS did not have to purchase pet food for our foster program, this frees up budget money for needed vet care for injured animals and for our ongoing spay/neuter outreach to low-income families.

Thank you Coffee County Humane Society for making a noticeable difference for pets in your community!
